2019 Senior Prize Giving
It was a great afternoon at Jubilee Park, starting with the annual Married v Singles match, followed by the prize giving and then the yearly spit roast put on by Hugh Pearless, Chris Millson and Craig Merrion (not to be missed!). Thanks to everyone for making the day/night a great one - and congratulations to all of this years award recipients.

The Brian Dowding Club Member of the Year trophy is awarded to the club member that goes above his or her normal duties, has given back a lot to the club, and has dedicated time and commitment.

Max Ancell has the club's best interest at heart, wants the club to succeed, and wants to help players succeed. He played for Nelson United most of his life up until he started coaching a bunch of Chin refugees. Unable to find a comfortable environment for them, he and the team moved to Richmond Athletic AFC in 2015. He now looks after two Chin teams and now calls RAFC his home club.

We're incredibly proud to have Max and all the Hornbills players part of our club - and Max is a fantastic recipient of this award.
